AJ Clark

AJ Clark was born in Lake Worth, Texas and was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. At age ten, AJ picked up a banjo his great uncle had willed to his father, around the same time his mother and father bought a guitar for his older sister, that he eventually began to play. Both parents having a great love for music themselves had a big record collection exposing him to a wide variety of musical styles. From The Beatles to Ralph Stanley to Merle Haggard, AJ grew up studying and loving a lot of different music. By the time he was fifteen years old it was time for him to take his talent on the road. 

He is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. He is one half of the American country music duo, Alvarado Road Show. In addition, AJ co-wrote numerous songs for other artists, such as Joey + Rory, Ty Herndon, Lynn Anderson, Gwen Sebastian, Mentor Williams, The Enderlin Chicks, The Freemans & more.

He is primarily known as an acoustic guitar player but also plays many other instruments including electric guitar, bass guitar, mandolin and banjo. He has performed on stages such as the CMA Music Festival, The Ryman Auditorium & The Grand Ole Opry. And has found notoriety performed with fellow musicians Steve Wariner, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton and many others.
